The founders

  • Stephane "Steve" ALLARD CEO & UI/UX design

    Stephane "Steve" ALLARD

Stephane is a serial entrepreneur who has been launching internet-related companies since 2001, after a fruitful experience at IBM as web marketing manager.

His latest venture was a pioneering social media agency which advised global brands and companies like Ford, Unilever, l'Oréal, Jaguar, Renault, Dyson, Calvin Klein.

He's a die hard sci-fi fan and would give a rave review of a movie or book most would consider rubbish. He loves sport cars even if the car he currently drives resembles a tractor more than a Porsche.

  • Stephane "Steve" ALLARD Lead front-end developer

    Benjamin GÉLIS

Benjamin is a frontend developper and a JavaScript/HTML5 enthusiast. He worked in a startup where Ruby was used and literally fell in love with the language.

Besides keeping up with each emerging, hyped-up technology (Backbone, Node & co), he spends most of his time losing playing FIFA.

He is also passionate about music, travel and is an avid jogger.

  • Stephane "Steve" ALLARD CTO

    Benjamin LAN SUN LUK

Benjamin is a passionate software engineer highly interested in technology. He loves Ruby-we mean the famous Ruby On Rails framework, and working on complex situations with large databases and scalability issues. He can't help but learn new technologies.

Before Wisemetrics he worked as a freelancer for many clients (mainly startups), and therefore gained a wealth of experience on various projects by working on countless lines of different code.

During his spare time he has co-founded a side project named Voxe.org, a neutral, soon-to-be international website to compare political programs and parties. When not behind his desk, he loves to play guitar and do indoor rock climbing.

What we believe in

  1. We believe analytics and reporting can and should be an enjoyable experience, not a burden
  2. We believe we don't need more data or more metrics, just good ones
  3. We believe a good metric is one you can act upon
  4. We believe professional software doesn't need to be ugly and messy to be powerful
  5. We believe that in statistics, correlation doesn't necessarily mean causation
  6. We believe the most passionate people create the most exciting products
